The official Basingstoke Bison website is rather subduedly celebrating the 20th birthday of ice hockey in Basingstoke. Personally, i feel that landmarks such as this should be a bigger event rather than a second news item on their homepage.
I would love to give you whistful, longing memories of a time long-gone where rinks were rinks, men were men, Moran and Simms were in school and there was no Sheffield Steelers, but i was only two at the time…so my father would probably be more capable of doing that.
