Not a good day for the Blaze. Inspirational captain Slyvain Cloutier has announced his decision to retire from the playing side of the game and take up the head coach role at the superbly-named Corpus Christi Ice Rays of the Central Hockey League of America.
With the beginning of the season so (relatively) close, replacing him may prove to be an impossible task. Great news for the Panthers and the rest of the Elite League, not so much for the Bling…sorry, Blaze.
